Our Hair Designers are selected very carefully and have similar characteristics; being warm and friendly as well as extremely professional. We feel that the level of service that we provide exceeds that of our local competitors.  We put together a questionaire to our team, to give you an insight of your hair designers.  Let us introduce you to our team:-

WORK EXPERIENCE:  At ” Essenelle “ I spent 2 years training. I then worked in a Craig Malcolm (now Abstract) for three years. I gave birth to my first child at 23 and bought Abstract with my sister Toni Ann. I am now an assessor and we train our own assistants. I am also studying my cert ed.
iN 10 YEARS TIME:  My future in the company would be to no longer be hairdressing as the company will be so big that I will have to become the business analysis.
MOST ENJOYABLE THING IN THE SALON:  The relationship I have with my clients, the continuous growth and courses.

LIFE AMBITION:   is to have loads of fun, help other people be come a teacher, have my own property abroad.
10 YEARS TIME:  I want to be a teacher and salon owner.
WORK EXPERIENCE:  When I left school I started in college straight away, the college I started was Michael John where I stayed for 2 years, since leaving Michael John i have worked 4 different salons. In 2003 I done advanced hairdressing course and also done a course in acrylic nails. While working in abstract I have been on a Paul Mitchell colour course and have completed NVQ level 3.
FUTURE ROLE:  I have started my a1 assessor course and see this as opportunity to use in the salon. This would be a position that I would use to pass on my experience to are assistants who are training.
MOST ENJOYABLE THING WORKING AT ABSTRACT:  I love working in abstract because I work with a brilliant team, my clients are fab and there is lots of  room to grow.

Jason Revels – Senior Stylist

WORK EXPERIENCE:  Started hairdressing in June 2005 in a 5 star (rated by the good salon guide) salon in a small village called Potton, in Bedfordshire, whilst I worked here I did my NVQ level 2 and3, I also went on many courses down in London, these courses were based on cutting, coloring, customer care and team building. In May 2009 I relocated from Bedfordshire to the Wirral, where I got my position with Abstract Beauty and beauty.
10 YEARS TIME:  I see myself as a top stylist within the salon, a trainer to the assistants and to do stage work.

WHERE IM GOING TO BE IN TEN YEARS TIME    in 10 years time I want to be a top stylist at Abstract and be able cover every aspect of hairdressing E.g. extensions / barbering

WORK EXPERIENCE    I left school with 11 GCSE’s and started an apprenticeship straight away, in college for one day a week and a salon, 4 days a week. I achieved NVQ. Then I had a baby and after maternity leave I went to work in another salon voluntary building up experience. When I was confident enough I started another salon as a stylist and was there for a year then came to work at Abstract 3 years ago. I have attended college again to do my advanced coloring and cutting and have done my level 3 at Abstract so I can be the best I can be. I have now been in the hairdressing industry for 6 years.

WORK EXPERIENCE When I left south wirral high school I was 16 and applied for college to do hairdressing course and also applied for a night time beauty course. I got on both of the courses but a few days after I applied for a job at abstract beauty and hair, I got an interview, after my interview I got told I had been given a 3 month trial then once the 3 months was up I got told I got the job so now I am doing all my training with abstract becoming the best hairdresser ever

WHERE IM GOING TO BE IN TEN YEARS TIME I see my future in abstract, me being the top art director making lots of money, I also see myself teaching new students on a Monday making them top stylists.

WORK EXPERIENCE:  I left school at 16 I attended Weatherhead  High School. When I left school I attended Michael John for two years doing a beauty therapist course and I am qualified in level 2, after that I decided to take up a hairdressing. I started work at another shop were I started my training, I attended Wirral met Conway park college 1day a week. I left my old salon as I wasn’t getting the training I wanted, that’s why I am currently here at abstract getting the best training ever!!!

I see myself here at abstract becoming a stylist and working my way upwards on onwards!

WORK EXPERIENCE:  At the age of 16 I finished my GCSEs and started working in a convenience store until the age of 18, while there I volunteered at a centre called MENCAP then went on to volunteer for over a year at a youth centre and also done outreach. When I finished at the convenience store I worked in a night club taking photos on people and making them into key rings. After that I started working in a factory called Pharmapac making and packing pharmaceutical goods, then started my trial here at Abstract were I am hoping to start a business admin course.
