Debbie is a cut above
Congratulations to our very own Debbie Alfa (senior stylist) who was a finalist in the European colour challenge for Paul Mitchell. The competition saw hundreds of technicians entering from 21 different countries. Debbie did a brilliant job and managed to make it into the final 12. Make sure you take advantage of the incredibly talented Debbie by booking an appointment with her now.

Abstract Abseil
Six very brave members of the Abstract team completed a hair raising abseil down the Cunnard buildings in Liverpool on 1st November to raise money for the stroke society. Our brave members of staff were Toni, Natalie, Dawn, Becky Lou, Debbie and Donna. We would like to thank all our clients who sponsored us for our challenge to help us raise an amazing £800.

Christmas Appeal
Christmas is the time of giving and helping those who are less fortunate, so this year Abstract is teaming up with KIND, a North West based family charity helping children and young people overcome disadvantages to transform their lives for the better. During Christmas they will be distributing hampers and toys for these families and we are encouraging our wonderful clients to buy a toy to the value of £15 and/or donate money towards purchasing hampers which will be delivered to disadvantaged families throughout the Wirral.
Hamper appeal: Each hamper costs just £47 and contains food and essential supplies for a family in need during the festive season, for some families this is the only gift they will receive at Christmas. We are encouraging our clients to make a donation to the hamper appeal and as a big thank we are offering you a 25% match on your donation in an Abstract gift voucher which can be used in January and February 2010 (for example if you donate say £20 we will give you a gift voucher worth £5). Why not also encourage your friends and family to donate as for every NEW Abstract client who kindly donates we will match their donation by 50%, (for example if they donate £20 we will give them a £10 voucher to use against our services in January or February 2010).
Toy appeal: We are also getting involved in KIND’s toy appeal; they aim to deliver as many toys as possible to disadvantaged children in the Wirral community. For many children this is the only toy they will receive this Christmas. We are encouraging you to obtain a ‘gift tag’ from the salon which contains the name and age of the child and you then buy a present to the maximum value of £15 and bring back to the salon. KIND’s great work has really touched our hearts, so please tell your friends and family about the hamper and toy appeal.
